Ian Gancas is an aspiring creative professional and a recent graduate of Boston University's Film & TV program. With a passion for storytelling and every aspect of the production process, Ian has immersed himself in the world of entertainment; producing short films, documentaries, music videos, and promotional videos throughout his time at university. Ian has gained hands-on experience in every aspect of the production process, from operating booms to directing and editing his own short films.

Throughout Ian's time at Boston University,  he was also been a significant contributor to Boston University's community of artists and creatives. In his senior year, Ian was given the role of Creative Director at Off The Cuff Magazine, Boston University's largest student-led fashion magazine. Leading over 140 members, Ian collaborated with his team to generate the concepts for 12 photoshoots while managing the production timeline for the magazine. With 10,000$ in annual funding, Off  The Cuff has been able to produce incredible prints each semester, securing sponsorships with local retail stores, Rockstar Energy, and Guayakí.

Since graduating from Boston University and relocating to Los Angeles, Ian has taken on as many internships as possible, including serving as a development intern for Dark Castle Entertainment and interning at both a boutique talent agency and a public relations firm, while also juggling work as a contract casting assistant and as a videographer and social media creator for emerging musician Leo Kalyan—contributing to a more than 50% increase in followers since joining his team.​

As Ian takes his next steps in his professional skills, he has taken the foundational skills he has learned in classrooms, student film-sets, and internships into the world of entertainment.
